Caramel custard

Ever cut your hand on caramel? It hurts pretty bad.
As I watched sugar turn into its various forms , thinking oh god I messed it up, to ok, it's salvageable, to oh no  burnt again, to ok, I do need to stop now....
It was a reasonable effort, the custard was a bit too thick ( condensed milk receipe.)
Next time need to brave the reals deal.
Atleast can battle the sugar better...
