One of my favorite vantage points in Atlanta.
Now that we have figured out how to get there without directions and with free parking.. It is all the better...the hike up is abt 20 mins (non stop). The vista is quite serene and of a different pallets given the day of the year and time of the day.
You mostly see a wide range of age groups attempting the trip. Have to explore more of the paved walk arnd the mountain..apparently, this one is different than the Cherokee trail.
Always nice to have nice company.
The village tavern with its German food is quite a find. Pastries and food quite comfortably nullify any gains of the hike...But high on YUM factor :)
The quaint houses on the walk from the parking lot to the park are as charming as ever!
Good day to hike! Am just thankful, another hike has been allowed by my knees.Yay for knees..good job guys..keep it going!
Now to post the pics...one I get them transferred from my cam...
